National Medical Instructor
Hunt began his career in pre-hospital care in 1993 with the United States Army as a 68W with the 38th Inf—Div. with the Indiana National Guard. In 2000, he finished the R.O.T.C. program and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University in Exercise Science.
Hunt worked through the western part of the United States in 2000 as a backpacking guide. He developed many wilderness survival skills, which he continues to teach today. In 2004, he was hired by Wayne Twp. as a full-time firefighter. Then went on to get his certification as a paramedic in 2007. In 2010, he became directly involved with the Wilderness Medical Associates International Program and remains an active voice within that organization.
Hunt moved to Franklin, TN, and continued his full-time firefighter/paramedic career. In 2015, he started his company, Prepared Medical Response. This cutting-edge pre-hospital care company was created to bridge the gap between everyday citizens and professional medical responders.
Hunt is currently a full-time firefighter with a metro Memphis Fire Dept (Germantown FD) in the state o TN. He is also an active member of the city’s S.W.A.T. team, where he serves as their primary Tac-Medic. Hunt holds numerous certifications in pre-hospital care and technical rescue, some of which include – Nationally Registered Paramedic, Advanced Cardiac /Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support, Tactical Combat /Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TCCC/TECC), NAEMT Affiliate Faculty, Fire Fighter I/II, Rope Rescue /Auto Extraction Technician, Wilderness Advanced Life Support, Certified Tactical Paramedic (TP-C), Swift Water Rescue Technician.
Hunt’s involvement within Guild Solutions Group is to direct the medical care and training curriculum to ensure it stays as advanced as possible. He will be directly involved in the training of the civilian sector to support our local communities by taking people from being on-lookers to confident responders.
